Alpine Auriculas

These bright and beautiful flowers are quite hardy outside in a well-drained position, or in a cold greenhouse. They fall into two main groups - gold-centred and light-centred - and have no white farina on leaves or petals.

Around the gold or light centre of each individual flower the petal colour is usually shaded, becoming lighter towards the outside edge.
